Foundations of Learning

Learning

The Kindermusik curriculum nurtures the language, cognitive, emotional, physical, social and musical development of the whole child.

We use the Kindermusik Foundations of Learning concept to show you, the parent, just how activities are nurturing your child’s development.   Foundations of Learning statements are provided at each class and highlight the benefit of each activity.

The ways in which Kindermusik activities can benefit your child’s development are highlighted below.

Birth to three matters

The ‘Birth to three matters’ is a framework to support children in their earliest years.  Primarily used by childcare professionals, it provides information, support and guidance to ensure that the needs and development of each and every child is being met.

There are many areas within the framework which correlate with the Kindermusik philosophies, developmental research and activities.  Please refer to the website below for further information on the framework.
